Guglielmo Vicario impressed for Tottenham again yesterday, as Ange Postecoglou’s side fell to a 1-0 loss to Chelsea.
The Italian made a terrific save off Jadon Sancho in the first half and showed his reliable ability on the ball.
Vicario has had a good stint at Tottenham since his arrival in the summer of 2023 and it now seems he’s attracting attention from Italy.
MilanLive have reported AC Milan are likely to lose goalkeeper Mike Maignan in the summer and they have a host of names on their shortlist.
The report warns Tottenham to ‘watch out’ for the Rossoneri’s interest in Vicario, with Atalanta’s Marco Carnesecchi and Napoli’s Elia Caprile also being monitored closely by Sergio Conceicao’s side.
The outlet believe Vicario could be a very good option for Milan to start in goal next season. A potential transfer to the San Siro could be part of a domino effect, which can see Maignan joining Paris Saint-Germain and Gigio Donnarumma being transferred to Inter Milan.
It isn’t known how much Tottenham can demand for the 28-year-old if they were to cash in this summer.
