Valencia regional newspaper Super Deporte have an article on Sunday evening detailing the current situation with Shkodran Mustafi.

Arsenal have been strongly linked over the past week, with claims being made of an impending bid. That offer would comprise of €30m upfront, and then a further €10m in bonus payments.

Super Deporte say every club which has contacted Valencia for Mustafi has been told the club don’t want to sell. Despite selling Andre Gomes to Barcelona, Valencia could still do with bringing some more money in, and Mustafi has been seen as an obvious option.

No club has made a ‘concrete offer’ for Mustafi, with Arsenal the only interested club named in the Super Deporte article, although they do mention there’s further interest in England and Germany.

That may well fit in with Spanish claims earlier today that Chelsea are very interested too.

Mustafi has a buyout clause of €50m, but it’s likely Valencia would accept less, despite the local media saying he’s not for sale. Depending how the €10m of bonuses are made up, Arsenal’s €30m+€10m offer may well be enough, if it’s ever actually submitted.
