Leeds United defender Robin Koch joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a loan deal in the last window and this has already paid off for him.
The centre-back has made nine appearances this season, even managing a goal and an assist. He’s been vital in helping the Bundesliga side concede only three league goals.
Eintracht Frankfurt have the best defensive record in the league and Bild explain that the addition of the both Leeds owned player and Willian Pacho has been key.
They state the duo have formed a partnership which has been an ‘absolute hit’ at the German club. The performances of Koch and Pacho has obviously pleased Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche.
“We are doing very well defensively,” he said, as relayed by Bild.
Eintracht Frankfurt manager Dino Toppmöller has joined in to heap praise on the two centre-backs.
“It’s unbelievable how stable Pacho is and how Robin has fit in,” Toppmöller explained.
Last week, the Leeds man stated he’s determined to continue his good run in Frankfurt in order to improve his chances of returning to the Germany squad.
With the Euros at the end of the season, the motivation could not be much higher for Koch, and also those competing with him for a place.
