Over the weekend, Arne Slot explained he’s set to go on a little holiday, just a couple of days away in the sunshine, before he decides what’s happening with his future.
Having won the league, his Feyenoord squad are set to travel to Ibiza for a party, but Slot wants something else. When asked if he and his wife will be traveling to London, given all the claims about Tottenham Hotspur interest, he said they’d rather go somewhere sunnier.
Feyenoord, it would appear, are not keen with such a timeline of events and they want to take control of the situation. VI report, via 1908nl, that the Eredivisie champions have set a deadline of Wednesday.
They’re set to have a meeting with Slot’s agent Rafaela Pimenta on Wednesday, and it’s at that meeting that the club want to find out about their manager’s intentions.
They clearly don’t want this mini saga developing into something which drags out even longer.
As well as Tottenham Hotspur interest, it’s suggested West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion have both made previous attempts.
