Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Rayan Aït-Nouri has emerged as a target for AC Milan in the summer window, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Theo Hernández’s contract lasts until 2026 and he could leave Milan at the end of the season.

They’re looking for replacements and the Wolves player and Club Brugge’s Maxim De Cuyper are on their list. Both are seen as ideal candidates to replace Hernández if he were to leave the San Siro.

Milan like Aït-Nouri and it is ‘not unattainable’ to secure his services. The transfer won’t be cheap, but the Rossoneri have ‘two wild cards to play’ to sign the Algeria international.

He’s managed by Jorge Mendes, who also represents Milan manager Sérgio Conceição and João Félix. The super-agent has good ties with the Rossoneri and the open dialogue would help.

Aït-Nouri plays in the Premier League while De Cuyper isn’t in the top five leagues in the continent.

De Cuyper has better numbers when going forward and defends less compared to the 23-year-old. This is logical considering the difference in the quality of the league in Belgium and England.

The Algerian’s contract expires in 2026, with an option for another year. Milan see his contract expiring as the second wild card, but that’s surely diluted hugely given the extension option.

The report states the price could start from €25-30m, but it’s not clear whether Wolves would agree to sell him for that in the next window.
