Stefano Okaka of Watford was one of the first players linked with a move to Fulham once Claudio Ranieri was appointed as the Cottagers manager.

The rumour now seems to have disappeared, but the striker seems to be linked with a move away from Vicarage Road.

According to Sky Sport in Italy, Udinese are interested in taking the 29-year-old.

Its’ claimed Davide Nicola’s side will take the Hornets player on a loan move and as a part of the deal, they’ll have an option to sign the former Sampdoria man on a permanent transfer.

Udinese’s interest in Okaka is also relayed by Tutto Mercato Web and they further mention he will be in Udine to undergo his medical tests on Saturday.

However, TMW mentions the attacker will join Davide Nicola’s side on a dry loan, which contradicts what’s been reported by Sky.

A loan move would benefit Okaka since he’s played only 22 minutes in the Premier League across two appearances for Watford this season.
