Palmeiras have reached an agreement with Nottingham Forest for the transfer of Danilo in the winter market.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who state the two clubs have agreed to a deal of €20m plus a percentage of a fee from the midfielder’s future sale.
It’s explained the 21-year-old has accepted the offer proposed to him by Nottingham Forest.
He is expected to arrive in England in the coming days to carry out medical tests with the Tricky Trees.
UOL in Brazil also state Palmeiras have agreed to sell their player to the Premier League side this month for €20m excluding bonuses. They will also be entitled to receive 10% of a fee from his future sale, if the fee exceeds €20m.
UOL say Danilo will travel to the UK tomorrow to undergo medical examinations, sign the contract and complete his transfer to Nottingham Forest.
AS Monaco have also showed interest in Danilo, but Steve Cooper’s side were successful in overcoming competition from the French club. Palmeiras believe they have achieved a good deal with the South American’s impending sale to Nottingham Forest.
