AC Milan are still looking to replace Franck Kessie, after their efforts in the summer window didn’t provide the answer.

Of course, the obvious option would be to go and save Kessie from his Camp Nou troubles, but the Rossoneri would likely feel bitter about having to pay Barcelona a fee.

Other options are being looked at, and that’s seen the Serie A champions turn their focus to Liverpool.

Calciomercato report Milan are keen on both Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Both have contracts at Anfield which expire in the summer.

It’s stated that letting them go, without a renewal attempt, will save Liverpool a big chunk of wages and help Jurgen Klopp’s pursuit of Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham.

AC Milan would likely also want the England international, but there’s simply no way they could come close to competing with Premier League clubs, so they’re forced to look at Liverpool’s cast-offs instead.

The Rossoneri’s hope is the Reds won’t bother with renewal attempts for either of the players mentioned.
