Beyaz TV journalist Sercan Dikme claims, via Futbol Arena, that Besiktas president Fikret Orman is flying to England to complete a deal for either Cenk Tosun or Oumar Niasse.
Dikme reports both Everton players are a transfer target for the Black Eagles as they look to strengthen their squad before the Super Lig deadline.
Besiktas were defeated 3-0 by Sivasspor at the weekend and they are keen to add a couple of players before the transfer window closes at the end of the month. The Turkish side are also said to be interested in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Romain Saiss.
According to the Turkish TV channel, the club’s manager Abdullah Avci wants to sign a striker to compete with Burak Yilmaz, who’s currently out injured. They claim either Niasse or Tosun will be signed by Besiktas and Orman will now hold talks with Everton.
Niasse has also been linked with a move to Trabzonspor in recent days whilst Tosun is said to be a target for his boyhood club Eintracht Frankfurt.
Both forwards look surplus to requirements at Everton and they may need to move on this summer.
