The French media outlet say a transfer for the central defender could accelerate in the coming days, but it’s likely the player will have to lower his wage demands. A number of Ligue 1 sides have reportedly been showing an interest in the West Ham man but backed away due to his salary.
He made 28 appearances for the Hammers last season, scoring two goals.
