Atalanta and Roma are interested in Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Julio Enciso, who is valued at €25m.

That’s according to journalist Orazio Accomando, who reports that the two Italian clubs have made concrete inquiries about the Brighton midfielder.

Enciso is expected to leave Brighton this summer after returning from a loan spell at Ipswich Town in the second half of last season. He does not appear to be in Fabian Hurzeler’s long-term plans.

Several clubs across Europe have been credited with an interest and now Atalanta and Roma can be added to the mix.

Accomando reports that the Italian duo are both interested in the Brighton midfielder, whose current deal expires in 2026. The Seagulls value him at €25m and both clubs have already made concrete inquiries.

Atalanta’s interest is not new as they also asked about the midfielder in the January transfer window but sent a refusal by Brighton.  Whether either club is willing to pay Brighton’s demands, particularly with Enciso currently injured and in the final year of his deal, isn’t made clear but, at least on the surface, seems unlikely.
