Nicolo Zaniolo may be on his way back to Galatasaray once his loan at Aston Villa expires, but the Italian media continues to be sure he’ll return to his home country for next season.
A few Serie A clubs have been linked to the midfielder recently, and Sky Italia, relayed by TuttoMercatoWeb, claims there are two sides who are particularly interested in the signing.
It’s said that Napoli are ‘starting to think’ about signing Zaniolo once he leaves Aston Villa for Galatasaray, as their new sporting director Giovanni Manna is an old admirer of his.
There’s still competition from Fiorentina, though, with the report pointing out that they have made ‘concrete moves’ for the signing in recent weeks.
The whole situation seems to be in very early stages, with the only certainty being that Zaniolo will not be purchased by Aston Villa in the summer.
It’s now Galatasaray who should be waiting for Italian offers that will arrive, and despite having a mixed season, the midfielder will probably be able to pick a club in Serie A.
