Since the start of the week, we’ve covered two types of reports from Brazil regarding the future of Liverpool midfielder Allan.

It was first claimed that Atlético Mineiro found a deal to buy the 22-year-old. And afterwards, it was said it was actually Fluminense who had a deal to sign him.

Now website UOL brings a story explaining the whole situation, which could still finish with a transfer to either of the clubs.

It started on Monday, with Atlético Mineiro offering €3m for the player. After making the bid, they found an agreement with his entourage.

On Tuesday, Allan went to the club, had a medical and sorted other contract details. He didn’t sign a deal, and although Atlético expect him to show up with the squad tomorrow, things may go the other way.

That’s because according to UOL, also on Monday night, Fluminense raised their offer, willing to pay €3.75m. Liverpool apparently accepted it, and they even sent documents in order to complete the transfer. That’s why the Rio de Janeiro side were so confident.

Now as Atlético claim to have a deal with the player and Fluminense say they have an agreement with Liverpool, they both trust they will have Allan before the end of the week.

It shouldn’t take long until we get to know the end of this story.
