On Tuesday, TuttoSport covered Juventus’ ambitious interest in signing Sunderland’s Granit Xhaka.
The Turin newspaper presented themselves as being confident that a January move to Turin could be on the cards for the midfielder.
Tuttosport are not letting go, and again have Xhaka on their front page today.
Xhaka is said to be Juve’s priority for the January transfer window, despite only joining the Black Cats months ago.
This interest is based on two aspects. Firstly, the Old Lady tried to sign the veteran in the summer. Secondly, there has already been contact with the Sunderland star’s entourage, which is said to have been refreshed in recent weeks.
There’s confidence that Xhaka is now looking for a big European club again. He’s thought to be keen on playing Champions League football, as he looks to play out the last few years of his career.
Tuttosport not giving up on Sunderland player

Juve manager Luciano Spalletti sees the 33-year-old as the perfect player for his system.
The only obstacle is expected to be Xhaka’s salary. If he wants to leave Sunderland though, it’s said Regis Le Bris’ side are unlikely to hold him back. In return, they’d want a profit on what they paid in the summer.
Tuttosport appear overly optimistic on this one.
Juventus made major changes to their upper management earlier this month. When that happens, it’s normal for dreams to be sold by the press.
That said, Granit Xhaka’s camp could easily shoot down the claims of them being in contact with Juve recently.
