AC Milan’s Yunus Musah had a terrible game in Serie A against Fiorentina at the weekend and his situation is now attracting interest from Tottenham, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest.

During Milan’s 2-2 draw against La Viola, Musah made a major error that led to Fiorentina taking the lead early in the tie.

Minutes after that, the USA international was substituted in the 24th minute by manager Sergio Conceicao. He went straight to the dressing room, without doing any handshakes as boos rang through the San Siro.

The fallout has been rather chaotic in Italy and there is now the distinct and rising possibility of the midfielder departing the Rossoneri in the summer transfer window.

MilanLive have reported on Musah’s situation and they state that Tottenham, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest are ‘very keen’ on the player, who was also taken off in the first half earlier in the season against Lazio.

Milan had rejected approaches for Musah in the summer of 2024 but things are now changing. Even though the club’s management still has quite a lot of belief in the versatile midfielder, a sale cannot be ruled out.

Previously, there have been suggestions that a fee of €30m could be enough to sign the American.

It remains to be seen if Tottenham, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest can try to execute a deal for a lower fee considering what happened at the weekend.

For Musah himself, it sounds like he may be best getting out of there.
