Tottenham may have been handed hope in their pursuit of Eintracht Frankfurt star Evan Ndicka, with coach Oliver Glasner insisting today that he is yet to sign anywhere else.

Ndicka is hot property at this moment in time as his contract with the German side is set to expire in the summer and he hasn’t extended that deal.

It means he has been free to sign a pre-contract agreement with anyone he likes since January and there is reportedly plenty of interest in his signature.

Tottenham are one of those, with it well known that they would like to continue changing their defence in the summer and N’Dicka even offered to them during the January transfer window.

Spurs never bit but their interest in the central defender is a longstanding one, having been linked with him since May of 2021.

That is likely to continue into this year’s summer transfer window and if Tottenham remain keen they may have been handed a boost as it appears Ndicka is yet to decide where he will go next.

“My feeling is from what I’m discussing with the two players but I’m not telling you that,” Glasner told Kicker on N’Dicka and teammate Daichi Kamada.

“There’s communication clearly between us that we find out before you write, and I’m still going off of that. I haven’t heard from anyone yet that he (Ndicka) would have signed somewhere else.

“But, nevertheless, he’s our player until 30th June and I’m convinced that every single one of them would give everything for the success of Eintracht and the team no matter what the future looks like. I don’t know what will come out of it.”
