A couple of days ago, we covered reports in the French media claiming Bournemouth and West Brom are keen on singing Montpellier midfielder Morgan Sanson.

The 22-year-old missed the majority of last season due to a ligament injury, but has been in stunning form this season with 3 goals and 7 assists to his name.

However, it was reported the Premier League clubs face huge competition to sign Sanson, as Borrusia Dortmund, Lyon and Marseille are also keen on signing him.

According to a latest report on Le 10 Sport, Montpellier could ask for more than the reported price of €10m due to interest from England.

AS Monaco and OGC Nice also seem to have entered the race to sign the 22-year-old, but the player’s comments earlier in December would make you think Bournemouth and West Bromn do have a chance.

Sanson admitted he is attracted to the Premier League, as the stadiums are always full and because of the quality of the players.

The player has just 18 months left on his current deal, and a move to AS Monaco or Borussia Dortmund could be equally tempting.
