In the past couple of months, we covered several stories from the Spanish media claiming Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in Abde Ezzalzouli.
The Barcelona youngster is currently having a loan spell at Osasuna, and Wolves thought they’d have a chance to be the 21-year-old’s new destinations.
It turns out that as the Spanish press today writes about the winger’s future, Marca brings some disappointing news for the Molineux side.
The outlet writes that Abde had only left Barcelona last summer because they had far too many options for the position at the time, but things have changed, and following his ‘excellent’ spell at Osasuna, he’s set to be brought back to the Camp Nou.
Barça reportedly want him in the first team should they sell other players from the position, and only in case they don’t receive offers for the other wingers would they consider the bids for Abde.
Marca doesn’t directly mention Wolves, but says the youngster has many interested sides in England who could ‘pay well’ for his transfer.
The club’s intention would be to make at least €20m if they eventually decide to sell him on.
