Two days ago, La Gazette du Fennec reported Liverpool manager Arne Slot is ‘already fascinated’ by Feyenoord’s Anis Hadj-Moussa.
It was also stated Slot has included the 22-year-old in his target list for Liverpool, after wanting to manage him at the Eredivisie side. At the end of last season, the manager left Feyenoord for Liverpool.
Hadj-Moussa arrived at the Dutch club in the summer and has impressed this season. The winger scored four goals, and it includes one in his side’s 3-3 draw against Manchester City in the Champions League last month.
Patro Eisden Maasmechelen manager Stijn Stijnen believes the player will receive offers from English clubs. He revealed this during an interview with Voetbal international and his comments are relayed by Soccer News.
The Algerian international joined Vitesse Arnhem on loan with an option to buy from the Belgian side at the start of this year. The Dutch club then sold him to Feyenoord in the last window.
Stijnen, who managed the Liverpool target during the first half of last season, has praised the attacker.
“Against City everyone saw what you could see much earlier. As a right winger, he makes it difficult for every defender in the world, especially now that he is becoming increasingly physically stronger,” he said.
“I saw him defend and switch against City. Yes, then he is a difference maker on the ball. With us, he sometimes wanted to do a little too much with the ball in positions where it might not be useful if you lost it.
“Anis is now followed on a global level. After City and that goal against Salzburg, I cannot imagine that there will not be an offer from an English club next summer. Believe me, [Feyenoord director Dennis] Te Kloese is rubbing his hands now.”
Slot may consider Hadj-Moussa if Mohamed Salah were to leave Liverpool when his deal expires at the end of this season.
