A week ago, InterLive.it stated Alessandro Bastoni is more than an idea for Tottenham Hotspur and the Premier League side are ready to attack to sign the Inter Milan player.

The defender established himself at the San Siro when Anotnio Conte was in charge of the Serie A side between 2019 and 2021. The coach is now looking to reunite with his former player at the north London club after not managing to sign him in the summer.

That’s according to Tuttosport, relayed by FcInterNews, who say Tottenham want to return for the 23-year-old. That’s because Conte is ‘still very interested’ in the centre-back and Spurs will ‘try again’ to sign him.

At the moment, the Serie A side are not opening the door to let go of Bastoni, but that doesn’t mean the Nerazzurri will not sell him. It’s explained ‘things could change’ for Inter if there is an ‘indecent’ offer.

There’s no mention of what figure is considered ‘indecent’, while there is insistence that Bastoni, to date, has maintained his firm desire to continue at Inter. This would make any potential transfer, at least in January, difficult.
