Takvim claim Fenerbahce value Vedat Muriqi in the region of €20m and that the Turkish club aren’t interested in holding transfer talks with any clubs who aren’t prepared to pay such an amount for the forward.
Yesterday we covered reports from Turkey that Tottenham Hotspur, Lazio, Fiorentina and Napoli watched the attacker last weekend during Kosovo’s 2-1 win over Czech Republic. Takvim claim Tottenham will monitor him again tonight when his country takes on England.
It’s reported all four clubs are seriously interested in the player and are eager to see what Muriqi can do against England later today.
According to Takvim, the Fenerbahce board are aware of interest from clubs including Tottenham, and that’s partly they won’t let their summer signing leave on the cheap.
The 25 year old striker has enjoyed a rapid rise in the last 12 months and scored 17 Super Lig goals for Caykur Rizespor last season.
During the last transfer window he signed for Fenerbahce and he’s made a decent start with the Yellow Canaries, scoring two goals in three games.
Muriqi is under contract at the Ulker Stadium until June 2023.
