Coming a bit out of nowhere, Tottenham’s interest in Sasa Lukic remains a rather important topic of conversation in the Turin based press.

After all, it’s not everyday that a Premier League club takes interest in a player in their squad not called Andrea Belotti, so there’s some excitement.

Crystal Palace are also on the case for a midfielder Torino Granata described as ‘one of the most interesting surprises of the Italian league’, especially after he ‘initially struggled to establish himself’ when he first arrived.

That’s now changed, and there will come a time in the very near future where the Serie A side have to make a decision: renew or sell.

This is what the aforementioned website look at, with his market value estimated at €5m by specialist websites, which they feel is below what he would actually go for.

Torino Granata go on to explain that any club, whether it be Tottenham or anyone else, would have to pay ‘double digit offers’ (as in €10m+) to convince the Torino hierarchy to sell should the club, currently 18th in Serie A, stay up.

If they were to be relegated, the story would be different, but there is some positive thinking going on as they currently have two games in hand on Cagliari in 17th, who are just two points above them.

Either way, Tottenham and co. have been warned, and there will be a lot of looking at upcoming results to see whether or not a bargain can be picked up.
