Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs ‘interested’ in Borussia Mönchengladbach star Jonas Hofmann, if reports are to be believed.
The winger enjoyed a good campaign with the Bundesliga side as he finished the season with six goals and 11 assists in the league.
The 28-year-old’s club form also helped him to make debut for Germany in October 2020.
Kicker are in full praise of Hofmann as they claim he has had his best season of his career, and ‘could change’ clubs this summer.
In case he wishes to, he has suitors in England and Spain, and while the report doesn’t provide any detail of La Liga sides, Spurs to get a mention from England as they are one of the clubs ‘vying’ for him.
The north London club have already looked at the player a few times, and have ‘followed the development’ of the attacker, who has become an ‘important’ figure for Gladbach.
Hoffmann has no release clause in his contract that expires in 2023, but taking into account the ‘financial feasibility’, Kicker are of the belief a move to the Premier League ‘would be likely’.
Whether he will join Tottenham or another cub in England, with Chelsea also on the case, remains to be seen.
