Udinese defender Destiny Udogie will travel to London on Monday to complete a medical ahead of a move to Tottenham.

That’s according to Tuttomercatoweb, who say Tottenham have ‘virtually closed’ the deal for the highly rated defender.

Udogie has been linked with a move to Tottenham throughout this summer, with Antonio Conte continuing the rebuild of his squad.

Recent reports have made it clear that the 19-year-old was closing in on the switch, with it stated on the 9th that they were one step away from wrapping things up.

TMW now say the negotiations with Udinese have advanced significantly and an €18m deal plus €8m in bonuses has been agreed between the two clubs.

Udogie is now set to fly to London and will be at Tottenham on Monday for his medical examinations, having already agreed on a five-year deal.

He’s then set to spend the season on loan in Friuli, rather than linking up directly with Spurs this season.
