Two days ago, Sport stated Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte wants Adama Traoré in January and the Wolverhampton Wanderers player has a ‘very good offer’ from the north London club.

It was also reported Jorge Mendes has offered the winger to Barcelona and he would be delighted to return to the Camp Nou.

On Wednesday, the same outlet stated the super-agent insists on taking the 26-year-old to the La Liga side in the winter market.

These claims are also relayed in today’s edition of Mundo Deportivo, who state the Spain international’s name has ‘reappeared strongly in recent hours’ and he is one of the options on the table at the Camp Nou.

It’s claimed Xavi Hernández’s side would be interested in taking the wideman on a loan deal until the end of the season, instead of buying him in the ongoing window. This case has been activated after Ansu Fati suffered another injury setback.

Francisco Trincão is at Wolves on loan from Barcelona and the deal includes no mandatory purchase option. The report suggests this deal could have an influence on the Catalan club making Traoré’s loan deal permanent, if they end up taking him in the coming days.

Apart from Barcelona, Spurs are also in the picture for the transfer of Bruno Lage’s man.

Mundo state Tottenham are the club ‘bidding the strongest’ to sign the Wolves attacker in January.

Sport on Thursday also state Antonio Conte’s side are ‘very interested’ in Traoré, but he wants to return to Barcelona, either this month or next summer.

Although Traoré has a ‘very good offer’ from Spurs and they are ‘bidding the strongest’ to sign the Spaniard, his preference, for now, is to join Barcelona.
