N'Jie L'Equipe July 27thMarseille have agreed a loan deal with Tottenham to sign Cameroon international Clinton N’Jie. The Ligue 1 club also have the option to buy the player for €7m, which can only be activated after the player features in a certain number of games.

Marseille had already sent their doctors to London to conduct medical examinations, and now we’re just waiting for an official announcement.

According to L’Equipe on Wednesday, N’Jie is still waiting for his visa, but there are other reasons for delay as well. L’Equipe say Marseille have slowed their operations with Tottenham, as many officials from the Premier League club are in Australia for their pre-season tour.

That could also explain the delay in the deal for Georges-Kevin Nkoudou. The Premier League club reportedly have already agreed a fee for the Marseille youngster, but there has been no further update on it in the last few days.

Tottenham appear to be surprisingly chilled with their transfer business this summer, it must be the Mauricio Pochettino effect.
