Even though it’s crawling to completion, Juan Foyth to Tottenham really seems to be happening.

The likely departure of Kevin Wimmer to West Brom has seen Mauricio Pochettino recruit at centre-back late in the transfer window, having already confirmed, pending a medical and a work permit, the arrival of Davinson Sanchez from Ajax.

Yesterday, all reports from Argentina pointed towards Foyth being a Tottenham player before the end of the transfer window, and Diario Hoy have further updated the situation, reporting the 19-year-old will be on a flight to London sometime between Wednesday and Friday.

When he actually sets foot on the plane, however, depends entirely on when Spurs send him the tickets.

If he received them on Wednesday before noon, then he’ll already be on said flight.

If he hasn’t, then Diario Hoy explain his travelling will take place on either Thursday or Friday.

Furthermore, the newspaper add the fee agreed between the two sides is £10.5m, although the manner in which the payment will be spread out has yet to be revealed.
