Tottenham have been pulled into the picture as the tussle for Nikola Milenkovic gathers pace.

The defender’s contract expires in June 2022, and Fiorentina want to agree a renewal but are finding it difficult. They’ve been in contact with the player’s agent, Fali Ramidani, but Calciomercato reports La Viola’s chances of securing a new contract are low.

Wanting to leave Fiorentina for a new experience, the 23-year-old will be aware he’s in a strong position. His Serie A club will have to sell for a relatively reasonable price in the summer, if there’s no renewal and they don’t want to risk losing him for free.

Tottenham, along with Liverpool, have ‘tested the waters’, making contact with the player’s entourage about a potential move. Spurs likely want to know their chances and how much a move would cost.

Manchester United, AC Milan and Inter Milan are all also keen, so for Tottenham to secure the player would be an impressive move. Should it come down to wages they may not be as keen as their Premier League rivals to splash the cash.
