Tottenham target ‘drawn to’ PL move – Player and club ‘would not be averse’ to deal

Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Daichi Kamada ‘wants to go to the Premier League’ amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

That’s according to Frankfurter Rundschau, who say the Japanese international ‘is on the move’ this summer.

Kamada was a key player in Eintracht’s success in the Europa League last season, and that earned him plenty of admirers, particularly as his contract is set to expire next summer.

Tottenham have been named as suitors on two separate occasions in Germany, with it first stated they were looking at him alongside teammate Evan Ndicka.

That was followed by a claim he was ‘on their list’ of potential options this summer as Antonio Conte reshapes his squad.

FR now follow that up, reporting that Kamada is ‘drawn to’ a move to the Premier League.

The newspaper does not specifically name Tottenham as his potential destination, but they are the only club to have been linked with the 25-year-old over the last few months.

If they are to make a move, Kamada would only command a ‘high single-digit in the millions range’ because of his contract situation.

They do say that ‘nothing is fixed yet’, but both the player and his club ‘would not be averse’ to a deal happening under ‘certain conditions’.
