Tottenham’s Harry Kane is not an option for Bayern Munich to replace Robert Lewandowski this summer.

That’s according to journalist Florian Plettenburg, who says the Tottenham man’s representatives have dismissed the possibility of a potential move.

Lewandowski is pushing to leave the German giants this summer, a year before his contract comes to an end, and while Bayern are resisting so far, there is a distinct possibility the Poland star could be leaving.

Bayern would therefore need to find another elite-level forward to replace him, and Kane has been named as a possible target.

He’s established himself as one of the best forwards in Europe since his debut for Tottenham, and many believe he could comfortably replace Lewandowski if needed.

It seems that is not on the cards, though, with Plettenburg reporting that his representatives have today insisting they ‘haven’t spoken’ to anyone

Any potential transfer isn’t ‘hot at all’ and the idea of the Tottenham star is not one that Bayern are exploring at this moment in time.
