According to a claim in the Turkish media, Tottenham Hotspur are still interested in signing Fenerbahce forward Sebastian Szymanski ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
The playmaker has been linked with a move to Spurs in recent weeks and it seems they are now prepared to make their move for the 25-year-old.
Aslinda today claim Tottenham are the most serious suitors for Szymanski, with Lazio and Marseille also said to be monitoring the player’s situation.
It’s claimed Tottenham officials are set to sit down with Fenerbahce in the coming days as they look to get a deal done for the Poland international. Aslinda say the Premier League side are ready to table of offer of €20m.
With their superior financial power, it’s expected Tottenham will win the race the to sign the player over Marseille and Lazio. Any possible deal for the Pole is likely to be concluded when Euro 2024 finishes.
Szymanski made 55 appearances for the Super Lig side last season, scoring 13 goals. He’s contracted to Fener until June 2027.
