Sabah claim Tottenham Hotspur watched Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi in action for Kosovo during his country’s 2-1 victory over the Czech Republic at the weekend.

The 25 year old has been in great form recently and the Turkish newspaper claim the Premier League side are following his progress. With Fernando Llorente leaving Tottenham this summer this has left Mauricio Pochettino light in the No.9 position.

Along with Tottenham, it’s reported Serie A sides Napoli, Fiorentina and Lazio were also in attendance to watch him score for his team.

Sabah claim Fenerbahce’s board are very happy with his performances and won’t consider parting ways with the player unless someone makes a ‘giant’ offer for him.

Muriqi joined Fenerbahce from Caykur Rizespor during the summer transfer window for €3.5m and has quickly established himself as a key player at the Super Lig club. He’s completely transformed the attacking line at Fenerbahce since he made his debut, scoring two goals in the opening three games of the season.

The former Rizespor striker is under contract with Fener until June 2023.
