Tottenham Hotspur have been named as one of the clubs interested in Ruslan Malinovskyi in January after having failed signing the Atalanta in the summer transfer window.
Two days ago, we carried a report from Il Giorno, who explained Spurs’ chances to land the 29-year-old in the winter market had vanished.
It was also explained he is further away from Tottenham due to the controversy around the deals carried out by their chief, Fabio Paratici, when he was at Juventus.
This suggestion has, however, been dismissed by Corriere Bergamo. They have a report on the Serie A side’s transfer plans for the winter market and state the attacking midfielder is one of players who could leave the club.
Antonio Conte’s side are only club named as the Ukraine international’s suitor. It’s claimed Spurs ‘remain at the window’ to sign him and the report adds that Atalanta will not accept a fee lower than €15-18m to sanction his sale.
Malinovskyi has over six months left on his deal and it’s not clear whether Tottenham are ready to meet his employer’s demands to take him away from Atalanta.
