On Tuesday, Tuttomercatoweb spoke of Wednesday as an important day to decide Randal Kolo Muani’s Tottenham future.

Juventus have spoken to the striker’s entourage about a possible return to Turin. They were about to have talks with Spurs and Paris Saint-Germain in an attempt to explore the feasibility of loaning him in once again this month.

Amidst all this, Tottenham’s stance over Kolo Muani was unknown. On top of that, the Old Lady weren’t sure of PSG’s demands about a January deal.

More details are now emerging and TuttoSport are gaining confidence.

The Turin newspaper report Tottenham have decided to ‘dump’ the striker.

This choice was made after the 26-year-old asked for an exit. As well as that, TuttoSport’s report claims Spurs have already held initial talks about a loan termination.

Kolo Muani is keen on putting his ordeal in England behind him. He impressed in Italy in the second half of last season, contributing to ten goals in all competitions. He proved key in Juve’s Champions League qualification.

While Tottenham’s decision to move on is a positive, the Old Lady know that time is running out. They want to sign the Frenchman on a loan with an option to buy, despite awareness that PSG would want a permanent deal.

Moreover, Thomas Frank’s side are in the middle of a massive injury crisis. As a result, Kolo Muani should start against Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday. Considering that, it is difficult to see Tottenham letting the striker depart so easily.

Tuttosport is a Turin newspaper and perhaps they’re getting a little carried away with optimism.
