Tottenham’s attempts to sign Cristian Romero are continuing, and Fabio Paratici isn’t giving up.

That’s what Sport Italia journalist Gianluigi Longari is claiming on Friday, claiming that Spurs are ‘ready to increase their offer to around €50m + €5m in bonuses’.

Tottenham are reportedly ‘very confident’ about finding an agreement with Atalanta regarding the transfer of the Argentina international.

As for Barcelona’s interest in the player, which has bene pushed more and more over the past few days, it’s said they are ‘still pushing’ and are currently ‘studying the structure of their new bid’.

That is expected to be a ‘paid loaned with an obligation to buy’ next year, when they will have a bit more money in the bank.

At least, that’s the hope, and it will be interesting to see whether Paratici or Lionel Messi win the battle to sign Romero, who has been reported as a request of his compatriot at the La Liga side.
