Tottenham Hotspur are currently pulling off something of a transfer miracle, believe Marca.
The Spanish newspaper have kicked off their build-up to the Champions League match and have several articles on Tottenham, how wonderful they are right now, the club’s history, and how it could all change quickly.
Harry Kane gets Marca’s front page, and it’s not to talk about a Real Madrid transfer. The England international is dubbed ‘Harry the strong’, and his brilliant record this season is of course pointed out.
Marca speak of Tottenham’s brilliant squad, and how Mauricio Pochettino has pulled it all together at a fraction of the cost of some other Premier League clubs. Then, that Spurs are managing to hold off selling these players is described as some kind of ‘miracle’.
Perhaps there’s an underlying suggestion that this transfer miracle can’t continue indefinitely, with this being a special time for Tottenham before the vultures inevitably start to pick off the best of Pochettino’s team.
Until then, and there’s no guarantee it will happen, Tottenham can continue with the good times, and Pochettino will hope one of the best is at the Bernabeu this week.
Marca will obviously hope otherwise.
