Over the past few days, there have been some murmurs about Galatasaray wanting to sign Giovani Lo Celso from Tottenham before the end of the transfer window.

The Turkish side are a club that Spurs know well, seeing as they negotiated with them for both Davinson Sánchez and Tanguy Ndombele over the summer.

Now, according to Yeni Asir, they could be in line for a late set of talks for the Argentine, who has struggled to find space under Ange Postecoglou this season.

Having recently added Serge Aurier and Carlos Vinicius from the Premier League this window, the Süper Lig club have ‘now taken action’ for Lo Celso.

It’s said the 27-year-old ‘wants to leave’ because he hasn’t been given chances by his manager to show himself.

Galatasaray, with the end of their transfer window coming on February 9th, are working to  ‘increase the alternatives’ in their midfield by then, seemingly targeting the Tottenham player and seeing him as the right fit for the plans Okan Buruk has in mind going forward.

One to keep an eye on in the coming days.
