Tottenham Hotspur‘s Manor Solomon admits he’s unclear where he will play next season.
Tottenham have sent the Israel international on loan since August 2024. After a season-long loan at Leeds United, Spurs loaned him to Villarreal in September 2025.
In January, the Premier League side cut short the forward’s stay at Villarreal and sent him on loan to Fiorentina.
A month later, Solomon’s agent Shlomy Ben Ezra insisted the €10m purchase clause is a bargain and he will consider a permanent move if La Viola stay in Serie A.
The Italian club finished 15th but didn’t exercise the purchase clause for the 26-year-old so far. The latter took to social media to thank Fiorentina fans while some mistook it as a farewell post.
Last week, the Tottenham man’s representative clarified it wasn’t a farewell post and left the door open to extend his stay at Fiorentina. The agent also explained he prefers for the player to stay at the north London club next season.
“The post is definitely not a farewell post; he simply posted about the past year and said a big thank you. Everything is open. I want Manor Solomon to stay at Tottenham; that’s my wish. There’s Pini Zahavi, Shlomi Ben Ezra, and me,” he said.
Tottenham player issues clarification
On Wednesday, the Spurs attacker played 88 minutes in Israel’s 1-0 friendly win over Albania.
After the match, Manor Solomon spoke to Israel’s Sport 5 to discuss about the game and his future at Tottenham Hotspur.
The player also took this opportunity to clarify that he didn’t say goodbye to Fiorentina, when asked about his future.
“I didn’t say goodbye to Fiorentina, I wanted to thank you for the post. I had a great time at Fiorentina, I don’t know what will happen,” Solomon explained.
Roberto De Zerbi’s decision key
The Israeli’s contract at the English club runs down in 2028, and Transfermarkt value him at €8m.
His agent recently said there’s been no talks with Roberto De Zerbi. Manor Solomon is likely to have discussions with the manager if Fiorentina don’t buy him.
De Zerbi’s decision then will be key whether Tottenham will retain the former Fulham man or offload him this summer.
