Tottenham player ‘a hot name’ for club ahead of next window – Deal can be done for €20m, Spurs can’t ask for too much

Having changed agents before the summer transfer window, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg is sending not so subtle hints that a transfer away from Tottenham could be in the making.

After all, it isn’t overly surprising to see this, as the Dane, previously a key player for Spurs, has seen his game time drastically reduce under Ange Postecoglou.

It’s recalled the Tottenham player has been followed ‘with particular interest’ by the Serie A club in past transfer window, and he is ‘once again a hot name’ ahead of the next one.

With his current deal in London expiring in 2025, this summer will be key for the midfielder, and without a renewal, Spurs will ‘not be able to ask for astronomical sums’, with the belief that ‘around €20m’ could be enough to close an operation.

We’ll wait and see about that, but the optimism is there, and with Højbjerg employing an Italian agent, Serie A could very well be his next destination, with AC Milan and Napoli also keen.
