Brazilian journalist André Hernan today shares some updates on the future of Tottenham Hotspur forward Lucas Moura.
It’s known that the 30-year-old will be walking away from Spurs at the end of his contract this summer, but it’s not yet known where he’ll head next.
According to Hernan, Moura doesn’t have any offers in his hands yet, and they’re unlikely to arrive until he ends the season with Tottenham.
Still, there are two destinations which stand out for now. Those are the United States and Saudi Arabia.
That’s because clubs from those places have shown interest in him, and they’re well appreciated by the player, who sees them as great opportunities.
Hernan claims that Moura’s entourage believes this is his last chance for a big contract due to his age, so he’s set to carefully analyse what will be on the table.
Brazilian clubs, especially São Paulo, have been hopeful of signing him for free this year. However, the Tottenham player has is clear that a return to his home country is not his priority right now.
