Tottenham Hotspur have joined other clubs in chasing Borussia Mönchengladbach star Marcus Thuram, according to a report from Italy.
The striker has starred for the Bundesliga side this term, scoring 13 goals and managing four assists from 17 matches. His current deal expires in June 2023.
Thuram’s form and the time left on his contract makes him attractive for other clubs. This includes Juventus and Inter Milan, and Tottenham have now been added to this list.
According to Tuttosport, relayed by Calciomercato.it, Antonio Conte will try to blow the 25-year-old away from his two former clubs. Spurs are monitoring the France international ‘quite closely’ and could move in a ‘blitz’, to get ahead of the two Serie A sides to sign him.
The north London club observed Thuram while he was in action in his side’s 4-2 win over Borussia Dortmund on November 10th, where he got his name on the scoresheet.
Inter, for their part, have long been keen the attacker. The Old Lady, on the other hand, are thinking about the Frenchman concretely.
Due to his contract situation, the report explains Mönchengladbach could ‘let him go’ in January so that they don’t end up losing Thuram for nothing next summer.
