Earlier on Tuesday, Philippe Coutinho was linked with a move to Arsenal on loan.
Claims came from France presenting the move as being close, and then denials were sent from other sources. Spanish newspaper AS reported there’d been no efforts from Arsenal to sign the former Liverpool player, and he wasn’t an option for them right now.
Now Catalan radio station RAC1 reports Coutinho is being offered to clubs in the Premier League. They believe Arsenal isn’t happening, and then say ‘Tottenham is an option’.
Mauricio Pochettino has been looking to sign an attacker midfielder for months, with Giovani Lo Celso and Bruno Fernandes the men being linked with Tottenham most.
Spurs haven’t been able to agree a fee for either, so this could potentially be another option.
It’s suggested a loan move is possible because Barcelona don’t want to lose money on the transfer fee.
