The Moussa Sissoko to Fenerbahce situation is a bit of a weird one, but it seems it’s finally getting cleared out thanks to both the Turkish club and the French press.
Earlier on Tuesday, NTV relayed the official statement, which explained the Super Lig side had not agreed a deal to sign the Tottenham midfielder, denying any contact with Spurs, the player himself or his agent.
Fast forward a couple of hours, and this is backed up by Foot Mercato journalist Dahbia Hattabi, who took to Twitter to explain Mauricio Pochettino’s side are not open to selling the France international.
Furthermore, Sissoko is said to be fully focused on Tottenham’s season, despite not being in Tottenham’s squad to face Manchester United on Monday evening.

The 29-year-old started his club’s first game of the season against Newcastle, playing all 90 minutes, but was then moved to the bench against Fulham before completely disappearing from the team sheet at Old Trafford.
Since arriving from St James’ Park, Sissoko has featured 82 times for Tottenham, scoring two goals and picking up nine assists.
