Over the last few weeks, Tottenham have emerged as a candidate to land Fiorentina’s Moise Kean.
The likes of Arsenal and Newcastle United have also been linked with the striker, who scored his 16th Serie A goal of the season against Atalanta at the weekend.
La Nazione, as relayed by Calciomercato, have provided an update about the Italian’s situation and things aren’t looking great for Tottenham.
The Florence based outlet claims Kean has not shown any signs of wanting to leave Fiorentina in the summer.
Kean is enjoying a central role at La Viola and he wants to maintain that so that he can play for Italy at the World Cup in 2026.
He will probably not have a central role at a side like Tottenham, where Dominic Solanke is established as their first-choice No.9.
Fiorentina are now looking to make sure Kean’s current release clause of €52m is increased and that he also earns a higher wage in a new deal.
Subsequently this could harm the north London side’s pursuit for the player ahead of the next transfer window.
