Juventus have again rejected the opportunity to sign Edin Dzeko, with the striker needing to find a way out of AS Roma. Having gone through a serious fall out with manager Paulo Fonseca, the former Manchester City player saw himself ostracised and has been training alone.

Various clubs have been linked, however, it’s been repeatedly reported that Dzeko has knocked multiple options back, believing that at 34-years-of-age he still has the ability to play for a top club and doesn’t need to lower himself to lesser options.

Tottenham Hotspur would almost certainly be in this big club bracket, and ASRomaLive report Jose Mourinho’s side could move for Dzeko ‘in the last few hours’ of the January window.

That’s all based on Harry Kane’s injury, with Tottenham understandably worried about the England international’s fitness. Should he be facing a prolonged absence, then a move for Dzeko could make some sense, depending on what kind of agreement Daniel Levy could find with Roma and the player.
