Tottenham midfielder Lucas Bergvall has been given the green light to return to action after missing the end of last season through injury.
That’s according to Fotboll Direkt, who report that Bergvall has been given all clear ahead of Tottenham’s tour of Asia. They report that the midfielder is cleared and ready again.
The youngster has been out of action since the beginning of May, when it was announced he would miss the meeting with Bodö Glimt in the Europa League. Tottenham announced shortly after that he would miss the rest of the season with a stretched ligament in his foot.
The 19-year-old has been working his way back to full fitness from then on and according to Fotboll Direkt’s information, he is now free of any injury issues.
He will be able to train normally and will play in matches during the upcoming tour of Asia, South Korea and Hong Kong. Tottenham are set to face Arsenal and Newcastle there over the next few weeks.
It’s a timely return for Bergvall, who missed four Premier League games and the semi-finals and final of the Europa League with the injury.
