Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs in the picture to sign US Lecce’s Patrick Dorgu this summer.
The 19-year-old made his debut for the Serie A side in August 2023 and he finished with 34 appearances last season. His performances haven’t gone unnoticed in both Italy and England.
That’s according to Calcio Lecce, who state the left-back is a target for London’s top clubs, including Tottenham, while Napoli are also keen to sign him.
It’s claimed the Naples club have made an initial offer, but it was far from the €30m fee requested by Lecce.
Tottenham have made an approach, likely with Lecce, for the fullback. The north London club and other interested parties have already been told that the Italian club will need around €30m to sell the Denmark U21 international.
As well as Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea have shown interest in the player, with the Blues being the latest added to the list. It’s claimed Lecce technical director Pantaleo Corvino is waiting for an official bid from Enzo Maresca’s side.
Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies were the left-backs at Spurs last season. The 31-year-old Welshman’s deal lasts until 2025 and Dorgu could be his long-term successor at the club.
