Joachim Andersen’s displays for Fulham this season have caught attention in England, despite the Cottagers relegation from the Premier League.

Last month, BT in Demark reported Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Lyon defender, who is currently on loan at Craven Cottage.

The 24-year-old will not extend his stay at Fulham, but he could still continue in the Premier League as Spurs have an interest, reports Jeunes Footeux.

It’s claimed the north London club, who are in pole position, will have to battle with Arsenal to secure the centre-back’s signature.

Both Tottenham and Mikel Arteta’s side are attentive to the Lyon owned player’s situation and could make an offer.

The Ligue 1 side paid €25m to bring the Denmark international to the club in 2019 and would look to recover the money invested in his signing in the upcoming window.

If either of the two English clubs want to sign Andersen, Lyon will request €30m to sanction his sale. This is not the only hurdle to seal the deal.

If Tottenham are to beat their ‘enemy’ Arsenal for the former Sampdoria man’s signing, they ‘will have to convince’ Andersen.
