Tottenham have ‘once again knocked’ on the door for Barcelona striker Vitor Roque, who could be on the way out of the Camp Nou this summer.
That’s according to AS, who say the Brazilian has numerous offers on the table and one of them has come from Tottenham.
The newspaper explains that Roque’s situation at Barcelona is about to become a ‘volcano ready to explode’ as the player has not been enjoying the minutes he would like after arriving in January.
Barcelona are testing the possibility of a loan deal, but Roque’s entourage are insistent that the striker will either play for Barcelona or leave permanently. He will not be loaned out.
A tug of war is set to develop in the coming weeks and in the meantime several teams are looking to try and take advantage.
AS have learned that Roque has around 30 enquiries from different clubs and Tottenham are one of those who have ‘once again knocked on the striker’s door’.
They wanted him before he moved to Barcelona and had ‘almost everything agreed’ with him and his entourage before he changed path and ended up at the Camp Nou.
They’d be more than happy to welcome him to the club now and take advantage of the developing discord between Roque and Barcelona to bolster Ange Postecoglou’s squad.
