Manuel Locatelli has had a difficult few months. The Juventus midfielder was excluded from the Italy squad for Euro 2024 and in recent pre-season friendlies, he has was even booed by some Juve fans.
The possibility of his exit has now been spoken about and Tottenham could be a potential suitor.
JuveLive have reported that a ‘dream deal’ could materialise between Juve and Spurs this summer and Ange Postecoglou’s club could be ‘ready to offer’ €24m plus bonuses to sign Locatelli.
Locatelli, it is mentioned, could leave Juve if the project on offer and the club satisfies him. The report mentions that it is likely that what Tottenham offer will appeal to the Italian midfielder.
The ex-Milan man isn’t a guaranteed starter under new manager Thiago Motta and that could play a role in pushing him away from Juve this summer.
There is a possibility that the player himself could seek a move, considering that he isn’t quite a certain starter for the Bianconeri, after the arrivals of Douglas Luiz and Khephren Thuram.
All of this could present a big opportunity for Tottenham.
